BJP Ready To Face Municipal Elections–Laxman

Hyderabad, Dec.24 (Maxim News): BJP state president K Laxman on Tuesday welcomed the issuance of the election notification by the state election commission to hold the municipal elections. He urged the election commission to hold the elections in a transparent and unbiased manner.

He also urged the commission to take steps to prevent the alleged irregularities committed by the ruling TRS party earlier. He alleged that the CM KCR and his party leaders had committed several irregularities in the elections earlier. Addressing media persons, he said that the party was ready to face the elections and added that they had kept ready their cadre to face the elections. He said that they would take the failures of the ruling party in solving the problems faced by the municipalities of the state. Laxman claimed that the state government had done nothing for the development of the municipalities and added that the Center had alone released funds for the development of the municipalities.
