BJYM Activists Arrested for Seize at Pragati Bhavan

Hyderabad, Jan 23 (Maxim News): BJYM leaders and activities tried to seize Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s residence-cum-camp office (Pragathi Bhavan)  demanding justice for the spouse teachers.

A large number of party workers tried to rush toward Pragati Bhavan demanding the cancellation of GO 317.  Alerted by this, the police arrested them and took them to Panjagutta Police Station.  Later they were moved to Gosha Mahal.  Security has been tightened in the wake f BJP’s call for seizure.  Police were deployed up to a kilometer away from  Pragati Bhavan.

In 13 districts, teachers protested against the blocking of the transfer of spouse teachers.  They are demanding that they be transferred before the promotions and transfer of teachers.  They say that the husband and wife are working in different districts and their children are facing difficulties and the government should respond and solve the problem.  However, the BJp is angry that the teachers have been protesting for three to four days, but the government is not taking any positive steps toward their demand.  (Maxim News)
