Mozambique/Internet/Hyderabad, Oct 18 (Maxim News): A terrible accident has taken place in the East African country of Mozambique. A boat carrying Indians capsized. Three people died in the incident.
Five others are missing. The Indian High Commission in Mozambique has confirmed the incident.
A boat carrying 14 Indians set out to transfer crew to an oil tanker anchored at sea. While the crew was being transferred near the Beira port, the boat capsized. Three Indians died and five went missing in the incident. Six others were rescued by the authorities.
The Indian Embassy in Mozambique announced this in a statement. It expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. Meanwhile, the search operation for the missing is ongoing. (Maxim News)
