BRS Ex-MLA Faces New Charges of Land Grabbing And Extortion

Hyderabad, May 28 (Maxim News): Another case has been registered against former BRS MLA Jeevan Reddy, Cyberabad Police registered cases against Jeevan Reddy under sections of cheating and extortion in Chaitanya Resorts land dispute.

A case was registered in Mokila PS based on the complaint of a person named Sama Damodar Reddy.  Jeevan Reddy has been accused of encroaching on his land in various survey numbers in Tanguturu of Shankarpally mandal of Rangareddy district.  Allegations that the flats were built and sold. 

Recently a case was registered against former MLA Jeevan Reddy.  The Chevella police have registered a case against Jeevan Reddy and his family members.  A person named Damodar Reddy bought 20 acres of land in Erlapalli in 2022. Damodar Reddy built a function hall in survey number 32, 35, 36, 38.  Jeevan Reddy’s land is next to Damodar Reddy’s land.

In 2023  Jeevan Reddy occupied Damodar Reddy’s land by demolishing the function hall.  Jeevan Reddy put the Punjabi gang to protect the occupied land.  A Punjabi gang attacked Damodar Reddy who went to protest the demolition of his function hall.  Jeevan Reddy’s followers and Punjabi gang terrorized Damodar Reddy by showing lethal weapons.  Damodar Reddy, the victim, recently filed a complaint with the Chevella police about the incident. 

A case has been registered against Jeevan Reddy’s family members under six sections.  A case was registered under sections 447, 427, 341, 386, 420, 506 r/w 34 IPC.  (Maxim News)
