Hyderabad, Sept 12 (Maxim News): The CBSE Exam 2027 registration and LOC process will begin shortly, the Central Board of Secondary Education has informed schools.
The board has asked affiliated schools to prepare student and subject details in advance. The notice covers registration for Classes 9 and 11 and the List of Candidates for Classes 10 and 12.
CBSE issued the notice on September 10. The board said schools must ensure accurate information before submitting the details.
Schools must verify each candidate’s full name against the admission register. They must also check the date of birth, gender and category.
The board has also asked schools to verify the full names of parents or guardians. Schools must ensure that all spellings match their official records.
Students’ subjects must also match the prescribed scheme of studies. Schools must upload photographs and signatures in the format specified by CBSE.
CBSE Exam 2027 Data Verification Gets Priority
CBSE has stressed the need for careful verification before registration and LOC submission. The board said errors can create problems later in the examination process.
The board has identified several recurring issues from recent examination cycles. These include incorrect subject codes and incorrect subjects entered by schools.
Schools have also submitted incorrect student and parent details in previous cases. Such mistakes later led to requests for corrections.
CBSE said these errors have caused avoidable delays and operational difficulties. The board also noted cases where schools failed to submit the LOC for students.
In some cases, schools did not submit the LOC within the required timeline. These issues have affected the board’s ability to maintain examination schedules efficiently.
Therefore, CBSE has again asked schools to complete their preparations before the submission process begins. The board wants schools to verify all student details and selected subjects in advance.
CBSE LOC Details for Classes 10 and 12
The upcoming process will cover the LOC for students appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in 2027.
CBSE said the registration process for Classes 9 and 11 and LOC submission for Classes 10 and 12 will start shortly. The board has not given the submission dates in the advance notice.
Schools will need to ensure that the information submitted remains consistent with their official records. This includes personal details, parent or guardian information and subject selections.
The board has also asked schools to avoid seeking corrections after submission. Such corrections can increase administrative work and cause delays in examination preparations.
CBSE said its affiliated schools need to cooperate to ensure the smooth conduct of the 2027 examinations. The board also wants schools to help ensure timely declaration of results.
The notice has been circulated to various educational authorities and institutions for wider dissemination among schools under their jurisdiction.
