Chandrababu Corruption Case: Security Increased for ACB Court Judge Himabindu

In a significant development, Judge Himabindu, who presides over the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court, is overseeing the skill development scam case against Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the opposition leader in Andhra Pradesh. This case, filed by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), has been the center of attention for the past three days.

Efforts were made to secure bail for Chandrababu Naidu, but the court found compelling evidence in the case and ordered him to remain in custody. Judge Himabindu delivered this verdict as part of the ongoing investigation into corruption charges against the former Chief Minister.

Due to the high-profile nature of this case, the Andhra Pradesh government has taken a crucial step to enhance Judge Himabindu’s security. Recently, the court also rejected a petition requesting house arrest for Chandrababu Naidu, stating that his safety is better ensured in the central jail.

In light of these developments, the government has decided to increase the security measures for Judge Himabindu, providing her with a 4+1 security detail.
