Hyderabad: Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the work and ideology of Sathya Sai Baba during the centenary celebrations in Puttaparthi. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister addressed attendees and focused on the influence of the spiritual leader. He noted that Sathya Sai Baba’s vision shaped many service projects and community efforts. Naidu also underlined the scale of support built by the Sathya Sai Trust over the years.

During the programme, Chandrababu Naidu praised the way Sathya Sai Baba planned and executed major projects. He said, “Baba established numerous projects without encountering water issues. The donations received were judiciously utilised for the construction of these initiatives.” The Chief Minister linked these efforts to long-standing development work. He explained that these projects helped many people and shaped infrastructure in several areas.

He further spoke about the drinking water projects started under Sathya Sai Baba’s guidance. According to him, these works provided safe water to many villages. He added that several hospitals built under the initiative helped large numbers of people and strengthened health care support. Meanwhile, he pointed out the role of dedicated volunteers who continue to work under the Sathya Sai Trust. He stated that Sai Baba believed “human service is Madhava service,” and said the volunteers follow this message even today.

Later, Chandrababu Naidu said that the ideology of Bhagwan Sai has reached people across the world. He urged everyone to understand its depth and adopt its message. Therefore, he stressed the need to share the teachings connected to service, compassion and responsibility. The Chief Minister concluded by noting that the centenary celebrations offer a chance to reflect on the path shown by Sathya Sai Baba. The input does not mention other speakers or programme details.
