AP CM Chandrababu Naidu was absent from attending Republic Day celebrations as he was away from the state.
Naidu is scheduled to arrive Gannavaram airport from Switzerland . Due to heavy fog in Arabian countries, flights were halted for hours. He along with his son and IT minister Lokesh and officials attended Would Economic Forum annual conclave in Davos. Leaders said they will arrive the state by this evening.
In the absence of CM, his wife Bhubaneswari hoisted flag in Chief Minister Office. She along with her grand son Devansh also attended the Republic Day celebrations presided over by Governor ESL Narasimhan in Amaravathi.
