Chief Cop warns over-speeding motorists; laser guns, breathe analyzers installed at ORR

Adibatla: Telangana Director General of Police Anurag Sharma today warned that over-speeding motorists, how big they may be, would be dealt with severely.

Inaugurating “Speed Laser Guns, Breathe Analyzers” arranged at Bongloor Tollgate, Adibatla, as part of “Road Safety on ORR” program organized by Rachakonda police, the DGP said, “ORR is not a speed riding track, it’s the facility for public…..It is seen that there was rise in accidents on the ORR….Some youngsters for speed driving with new imported vehicles are using ORR…..Many peoples in drunken condition are using ORR way which leads to a number of accidents…..Keeping these in view the Rachakonda & Cyberabad police in association with HMDA will be more alert especially on ORR….Speed laser guns & breath analyzers will be provided to police for further control on drink & drive & speed driving on ORR. HMDA will provide speed laser guns to Rachakonda, Cyberabad and Patencheru to enforce and detect the cases”, he said.

DGP Anurag Sharma also appreciated the Commissioners of Rachakonda and Cyberabad police for coming forward with ideas to prevent accidents on the ORR. HMDA Commissioner Chiranjeevulu, Police Commissioners of Rachakonda, Cyberabad were also present.
