Chinmaya Mission Greater Hyderabad on January 24, 2026 inaugurated “Chinmaya Experience,” a technology driven spiritual experience zone, at NTR Stadium in Hyderabad. The initiative forms part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of Chinmaya Mission. The project combines artificial intelligence and virtual reality to present spiritual learning in an immersive and interactive format.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Pujya Swami Swaroopananda Ji, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, and Swami Bodhamayananda Ji, Director of the Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad. The programme began with traditional invocations and the ceremonial Poorna Kumbham. Later, dignitaries formally inaugurated several key stalls and conducted a walkthrough of the exhibition area at the venue.

The Chinmaya Experience zone features multiple themed stalls that reflect the Mission’s spiritual and educational work. These include the Chinmaya Vani Book Store, the Chinmaya Uphaar Merchandise Stall, and stalls showcasing Chinmaya Mission’s grassroots activities. However, the main attraction remained the VR based Experience Stall. This centre offers visitors an immersive journey through the life and teachings of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. It also presents a specially curated timeline highlighting the Mission’s 75 year journey, combining modern technology with Vedantic teachings.

Visitors can access four major stalls at NTR Stadium across both days of the celebrations. These include the VR Experience Stall focused on immersive spiritual learning, a Chinmaya Book Stall offering devotional literature, Vedantic texts, and children’s books, and the Chinmaya Uphaar Merchandise Stall. Additional stalls highlight outreach and grassroots initiatives undertaken by Chinmaya Mission over the years. Following the inauguration, the stalls were opened to the public and saw enthusiastic participation from visitors.

Addressing the gathering and the media, Pujya Swami Swaroopananda Ji spoke about the Mission’s 75 year journey and its commitment to spiritual education rooted in Vedanta. He also spoke about the relevance of such initiatives in modern society. Swami Bodhamayananda Ji appreciated Chinmaya Mission’s contribution to nation building through value based education, spiritual empowerment, and selfless service. The programme concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra and a collective pledge aimed at inner transformation and social harmony.

As part of the ongoing Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, Chinmaya Mission Greater Hyderabad will organise a mega Bhagavad Gita Chanting programme tomorrow. The event will take place in the presence of the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. Over 50,000 participants are expected to take part. The celebrations will continue on January 24 and 25, 2026, reaffirming the Mission’s effort to blend ancient wisdom with contemporary relevance.
