CII Submit Recommendations To GoTS On Supporting Industry & MSMEs Post Lockdown

Hyderabad, April 19 (Maxim News): To mitigate the concerns of the Industry & MSMEs in the State and to provide suggestions on the resumption of commercial activities post lockdown, CII Telangana today submitted a document on the Exit Plan to support Industry & MSMEs in the State.

Vanitha Datla, Past Chairperson, CII Telangana & Vice Chairperson & Managing Director Elico Ltd. submitted CII’s Recommendations to KT Rama Rao, Minister for Industries, MA&UD and IT E&C, Government of Telangana

The document recommends the support required by industry to restart the industrial operations, to meet all essential needs of the economy and ensure protection of livelihoods and jobs while taking all measures to reduce the spread of the pandemic.

With the Ministry of Home Affairs guidelines circulated earlier this week, minimum operations for select industry sectors may resume from next week. CII industry members deliberated on the exit strategies and put forward the suggestions for an orderly resumption of Industrial & commercial activities

CII Telangana in partnership with GoTS has also come out with a Telangana -COVID Operating Procedures (T-COPS) which lists down the Best & Next Practices to be followed at home, offices, shop floors, commute, public places and by senior citizens for prevention and spread of COVID-19.

The flyer was released today by KT Rama Rao, Minister for Industries, MA&UD and IT E&C, Government of Telangana. The Telugu version of the flyer will released soon.

On behalf of Elico Ltd, Ms Vanitha Datla also donated 2 Fully Automated IoT Cloud based Water Quality Analysers to the Government of Telangana to be installed at Gandhi Hospital & Osmania Hospital.

Rakesh Surana, Chair, Young Indians Hyderabad Chapter on behalf of CII-Yi Hyderabad contributed 100 N95 masks 400 PPEs to Government of Telangana for usage in frontline workers of Government Hospitals. (Maxim News)
