Hyderabad, May 20: With unprecedented pandemic taking its toll world over, social distancing, personal hygiene and wearing of masks has become inevitable. As the government has made it mandatory, wearing masks will become an integral part of our lives, says city-based fashion designer Sahil Gulati.
Gulati, pointing out that masks will be the norm from now, is foraying into manufacturing and supply of face masks. Though many companies have come forward to manufacture masks of various kinds, Gulati says his designer masks are distinct as they are reusable, washable and the fabric is user friendly. They are also personalised with the name of the person using it prominently displayed on the front.
“This is basically done to facilitate identification, as with the mask covering more than 50 percent of the face,” he said, adding that the masks were available in various colours and designs to match with one’s attire.
