- Narsingi Girl Attacked by Three Youths
Hyderabad: Police arrested three youths for gang-raping a class 8 girl from Narsingi. The brutal attack happened after they gave her ganja. They also forced alcohol on her. This took place in a double bedroom house in Chengicherla.
The girl lives with her grandmother in Puppalaguda. She studies in class 8 at a local private school. On February 16 morning, she told her family she was going to school. However, she did not return home in the evening. Therefore, her grandmother complained to Narsingi police.
Police registered a case right away. They started an investigation. First, they questioned school students. Then, based on evidence, they checked CCTV cameras. Meanwhile, this led them to the crime spot.
Accused Include Minors and Rowdy Sheeter
Two of the accused are minors. The other is a rowdy sheeter from Bhavani Nagar, police said. They also consumed alcohol during the crime. Later, police took the girl to hospital for medical exam. Doctors said her condition was critical.
Police plan to send the accused to remand today. They registered cases under various sections. Also, they confirmed the girl was raped after ganja and alcohol. This shocking incident has raised concerns in Hyderabad metropolis.
