Jharasangam/Hyderabad, Nov 4 (Maxim News): In a shocking incident driven by anger over a love marriage, a father and son allegedly set fire to the house of a young man who had married the woman against her family’s wishes. The incident occurred in Kakkar Wada village, under Jharasangam mandal of Sangareddy district.
According to SI Patil Krantikumar, the woman, daughter of Golla Vitthal, had fallen in love with and recently married Boini Nagesh, a youth from the same village. Despite informing her father about their relationship, he strongly opposed the marriage. The young woman eventually left her home and married Nagesh without her family’s consent.
Upon learning of the marriage, Golla Vitthal reportedly became enraged. Accompanied by his son Pandu, he allegedly attacked Nagesh’s father and later set Nagesh’s house on fire.
Local residents, noticing the blaze, immediately alerted the fire department, which rushed to the scene and brought the flames under control before they could spread further.
Following the incident, Nagesh filed a complaint with the Jharasangam police. A case has been registered against Golla Vitthal and his son Pandu, and an investigation is currently underway. (Maxim News)
