Hyderabad, Sept.8 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today appointed retired IAS official C Partha Sarathi as state election Commissioner.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has picked him for the top post at state level.The government has issued orders in this regard and Partha Sarathi will be in office for three years.
Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Ministry has issued an order 33 for appointment of state election Commissioner. Partha Sarathi has served the state in various capacities including principle secretary of agriculture.
The government said that the same will be published in extraordinary Gazette. Partha Sarathi succeeds V Nagi Reddy who completed five years term. (Maxim News)
