CM KCR Holds Review Meeting On Mana Badi-Naadu-Nedu Program
Amaravati, Aug.4 (Maxim News): The state administration is getting ready to hold the second phase of the Mana Badi – Naadu-Nedu program. The Chief Minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy today held a meeting on his government’s flagship program Naadu-Nedu.
The state government has completely changed the face of 15000 government schools in the first phase of the program and it is now gearing up to change the phase of the 14,584 schools in the second phase. The officials made a power point presentation on the works taken up in the schools in the first phase. The authorities have completely changed the face of a school built in the year 1938 in Kankipadu panchayat of Krishna district . They told the CM that they received praises from all sections of the society for transforming the face of the school, which was resolved to be demolished by the parents teachers committee of the school.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister has asked the officials to set up mineral water plants in all schools of the state. He made it clear that the maintenance of the plants was equally an important aspect and issued orders to the officials to hand over the maintenance of the plants to the companies of the water plants. The CM said that they would spend ₹4732 crore to take up works in 14584 schools in the state. (Maxim News)
