CM KCR To Resume Efforts For Federal Front
Resuming his efforts for a non-BJP and non-Congress government at the Centre after the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has commenced another spell of consultations with like-minded leaders from different political parties. On Monday, he left for a five-day tour to Kerala and Tamil Nadu where he will hold consultations with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and DMK president MK Stalin respectively.
The Chief Minister along with his family members left for Thiruvananthapuram in a special flight from Begumpet airport on Monday afternoon. He is also scheduled to visit various temples in both the States during his tour.
Soon after landing in Thiruvananthapuram, Chandrashekhar Rao will have darshan of Lord Anantha Padmanabha Swamy in Thiruvananthapuram followed by a meeting with Kerala Chief Minister and senior CPM leader Pinarayi Vijayan.
Sources said both the Chief Ministers are expected to discuss the present political scenario in the country in the wake of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections and post-poll conditions. The meeting assumes significance especially amidst rumours that the Left parties are not averse to the idea of joining hands with the regional political parties and join the Federal Front forces.

On the next three days, he will visit Rameshwaram on May 9, Meenakshi temple at Madurai on May 10 and Srirangam on May 11. He will return to Hyderabad via Chennai on the same day.
