Opposition Plaint To Nagi Reddy On TRS

Hyderabad, May 5 (Maxim News): A delegation of political parties met with state election commission, and complained against TRS leaders for threatening them to win local bodies polls.

Leaders including TD’s Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, TJS President Prof Kodandaram and CPI’s Dr Sudhakar Rao have called on the state election commissioner V Nagi Reddy and filed a complaint against the ruling party for unethical practices and using police force to threaten other political parties to win the ZPTC and MPTC polls in the state.

They cited that the police have arrested the CPI leaders before the campaign by education minister G Jagadish Reddy in Suryapet district. This is only to suppress opposition voice and the election commission should see that the ruling party should not misuse its powers against others. The election commissioner has promised to look into the issue as he has already given instructions to the police, the CPI leader said.(Maxim News)
