Wanaparthy Food Poisoning | Hyderabad, Oct. 9: Around 25 students fell ill after suspected food poisoning at the Women’s Polytechnic College hostel on the outskirts of Pebbair in Wanaparthy district on Wednesday night.
The students reportedly experienced vomiting, fever and weakness. Several were taken to Pebbair Primary Health Centre (PHC) for medical examinations and treatment.
The students’ condition was reported to be stable. However, the exact cause of their illness has not yet been established.

There are allegations that the students became ill after consuming chicken curry. Authorities are yet to confirm whether the food caused the illness.
Following reports of the incident, Pebbair Municipal Chairman Srinivas Goud, Congress town president Dayakar Reddy and others visited the college to check on the students.
