CM Revanth Reddy Holds Crucial Talks on MLC Candidate Selection with PCC Leaders
Hyderabad, Mar 5 (Maxim News): The Core Committee met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss the selection process for the MLA Quota MLC candidates. The meeting, which took place at the CM’s residence in Jubilee Hills, was attended by AICC State Affairs In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka.
During the meeting, which lasted over an hour, the procedures for selecting the MLC candidates were thoroughly discussed.
With five MLC seats set to become vacant on March 29, the Election Commission has already issued a notification to fill the vacancies. The deadline for submitting nominations has been extended to March 10. Out of the five vacant seats, one will be allocated to the BRS Party, while the remaining four will go to the Congress Party.
The PCC Core Committee has already started working on selecting candidates for these four seats. A meeting was held with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as part of this process, and it is expected that the PCC will meet again to finalize the candidates. The party has reportedly received a large number of applications for the MLC posts. (Maxim News)
