- Revanth Reddy highlights Sathya Sai Baba’s global influence and service work
- Centenary celebrations in Puttaparthi recall education, medicine and water projects
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that Sathya Sai Baba has established a permanent place as a god among people. He spoke at the Sri Sathya Sai Centenary celebrations held at Hillview Stadium in Puttaparthi, Sri Sathya Sai District. He recalled Baba’s work and stressed his impact on people across the world.
Revanth Reddy said, “Sathya Sai Baba not only taught that human service is Madhava service, he implemented it.” He noted that Baba solved problems related to education, medicine and drinking water. He added that Baba gave people the courage needed to achieve a goal in life. He stated that Sathya Sai Baba has devotees in 140 countries and that they are serving the world. His remarks highlighted the wide reach of the spiritual leader’s message.
He said it was a rare opportunity to participate in the centenary celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba. He added that Baba won people over with his love. According to him, Baba left an impression as a god in everyone’s hearts with his services. He said Sathya Sai Baba proved that anything can be achieved through love. He also stressed that it is everyone’s responsibility to take Baba’s ideas as inspiration.
The Chief Minister said the Sathya Sai Trust has accomplished things that even governments cannot do. He pointed out that they provided free education to the poor from KG to PG. He said they offered proper medical treatment to lakhs of poor people in the final stages. He also stated that they provided drinking water facilities to a migrant district like Palamuru. Meanwhile, he said they solved the drinking water problem in Anantapur district as well as Tamil Nadu. His remarks focused on the scale of the trust’s service.
