According to the sources, the Chief Minister will discuss with the party high command on cabinet expansion, nominated positions, and selection of PCC president. As part of this visit, Revanth will meet Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi today. They will be invited to unveil the statue of Rajiv Gandhi which will be set up in front of the Telangana Secretariat. Meanwhile, it is reported that there is a possibility of clarity today on who will be the new state president of Telangana Congress.

Rajiv Gandhi‘s name has become a hot topic in Telangana politics. The main reason for this is the installation of Rajiv Gandhi’s statue in front of the Secretariat. BRS strongly opposes the installation of Rajiv Gandhi’s statue. How can Rajiv Gandhi’s statue be placed in place of Telangana’s Talli statue?  KTR has made it clear several times that when he comes to power, he will remove the statue of Rajiv Gandhi and install the statue of Telangana Talli in its place. Also, KTR said that the name of Rajiv Gandhi will be removed from Shamshabad airport and the name of Jayashankar or Narasimha Rao will be added.

Congress has taken a crucial decision to reverse the attack of BRS on the statue of Rajiv Gandhi.  A statue of Telangana Talli along with a statue of Rajiv Gandhi is set up in front of the secretariat.  Recently, along with CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka visited the Secretariat for a place to set up the statue of Telangana Talli. The Revanth government will soon set up a statue of Telangana Talli in front of the secretariat. On the other hand, CM Revanth became serious about KTR’s criticism. After being in power for ten years, why did you not set up a statue of Telangana Mother? KTR is under fire for any kind of criticism for political gain.  (Maxim News)
