CM Revanth Visited Delhi 46 Times But Still Couldn’t Meet Rahul Gandhi: Ramachandra Rao

Delhi/Hyderabad, July 21 (Maxim News): In a sharp political attack on the Congress party, Telangana BJP President G. Ramachandra Rao has questioned the leadership disconnect within the Congress, pointing out that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Delhi 46 times but was denied an audience with Rahul Gandhi.

Addressing the media in Delhi, Ramachandra Rao stated that he personally came to the capital to seek guidance from senior BJP leaders on strengthening the party in Telangana. In contrast, he claimed that Congress’s own CM has repeatedly failed to get a meeting with the top leadership of the AICC, especially Rahul Gandhi.

“Even when Revanth Reddy requests time, Rahul Gandhi refuses to meet him. But the Prime Minister and Union Ministers have always given time when approached. This shows the Congress’s disregard for their own Chief Minister,” said Ramachandra Rao.

He further took a dig at the Congress government in Telangana over the recent religious reservation ordinance, alleging that it was a misleading political move aimed at confusing the Backward Classes (BCs). “The Chief Minister must apologize to BC communities for deceiving them with a law that he himself knows has legal flaws,” Rao demanded.

While reiterating the BJP’s opposition to religion-based reservations, he clarified that the party supported the BC Bill and the ordinance, holding the Congress fully responsible for its implementation. “We stand with BCs, but we oppose divisive tactics,” he said.
