CM Reviews Arrangements For Successful Medaram Jathara
Hyderabad, Jan. 26 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao instructed officials to coordinate with all departments concerned and ensure devotees visiting Medaram Jathara are not put to any inconvenience and make the Jathara successful. He also said two helicopters should be made available in Hyderabad for the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police and other senior officials to visit Medaram to review the arrangements from February 5 to 9.
Ministers and other people’s representatives gave an invitation to the Chief Minister to visit Medaram Jathara to be held next month on Sunday morning at Pragati Bhavan. Ministers Satyavathi Rathod, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, A Indrakaran Reddy and MP Maloth Kavitha met the Chief Minister and invited him for Medaram Jathra.
Later, the Chief Minister held a review meeting about the Jathara arrangements with the ministers and Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar. The Chief Minister said lakhs of devotees visit Medaram Jathara not only from the State but also from the neighboring States. There should not be any negligence with regard to supply of drinking water and sanitation. “Plan a proper strategy for the queue lines, smooth flow of vehicular traffic. Depute IAS and IPS officers, who earlier worked in Warangal district and who had the experience of organizing the Medaram Jathara in the past”, he said. (Maxim News)
