Hyderabad, July 7 (Maxim News): TRS Membership drive was going on briskly in the entire State, former minister T Harish Rao today said. He started TRS membership drive in Siddipet ahead of the polls for municipalities and corporations in Telangana.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said some 70,000 people took the membership from the TRS in Siddipet segment. Each member got membership in the TRS will get Rs 2 lakh accident insurance cover, the former minister said. He also said Siddipet town was being developed in all the 14 wards. “Soon we will complete 2,500 units of double bed room housing facility for the poor and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will give away the housing facility to the poor soon, he said. Appealing to the people to avoid water wastage, he said TRS government has been focusing on development of the State, he added. (Maxim News)
