Complaint With ED Seeking Probe Into Land Irregularities By Joginapally Santosh Rao 

Hyderabad, Jan. 19 (Maxim News): : Congress leader Ramya Rao on Monday filed a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate seeking a probe into alleged land irregularities involving former BRS Rajya Sabha member Joginapally Santosh Rao. The Santosh Rao ED complaint has added a fresh twist to the ongoing political debate in Telangana.

Ramya Rao personally met ED officials in Hyderabad and submitted documents related to the allegations. She later told the media that she handed over key evidence linked to alleged land scams involving Santosh Rao and members of his team. She demanded a detailed investigation into their assets and activities.

According to Ramya Rao, Santosh Rao and his associates allegedly intimidated several people, including women, to carry out land irregularities. She alleged that even after losing power, BRS leaders continued to threaten people as if they were still in authority.

She further alleged that officials at the police and tahsildar level managed to create fake certificates and transfer properties illegally. She also claimed that money earned through land dealings was routed into the liquor scam. She said she would soon hold another press conference to explain the alleged corruption in detail.

Ramya Rao also alleged that Santosh Rao’s team had wronged Sucharita Reddy, the daughter in law of Sumitra, who she said is respected by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. She appealed to the Chief Minister to ensure justice in the matter.

She said complaints were already submitted to the CBI and ACB earlier and that the ED complaint was part of continued efforts to seek action. Meanwhile, her claims linking land dealings to the liquor scam have sparked political discussions. Many observers are watching whether central agencies will reopen or intensify investigations based on the Santosh Rao ED complaint. (Maxim News)
