Cong May Promise 48 Hours Power A Day: KTR

Hyderabad, Nov.28 (Maxim News): IT Minister K T Rama Rao today ridiculed that the Congress leaders may woo people for votes by promising to give 48 hours power supply in a day for farm sector. KTR asked whether there was any farmer who got Rs 2 lakh loan in the segment.

He was conducting a road show at Shankarpally in Chevella segment along with TRS candidate Kale Yadaiah and others. Speaking to public on the occasion, he said that the congress leaders have lost their sense and resorting to give some impossible promises. The people should not wonder even if the congress comes to seek votes by saying that they will give 48 hours of power to farm sector in a single day. The congress also talking of waiving off Rs 2 lakh farm loans which is not acceptable, he said. The Congress has tied up with the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, TJS and CPI for the Assembly polls.

The people should be wary of Naidu who has so far been trying to stall the irrigation projects and Telangana growth. The TDP Regime has gunned down the farmers for seeking power to farm sector and the congress regime did the same by killing by using police force against the poor in Mudigonda. And now these two parties have forged an unholy alliance and shamelessly seeking votes, he charged. He appealed to the people to teach a fitting lesson to these two parties (Cong, TD) in the elections. The TRS dispensation which has already waived off Rs 17000 crore crop loans, will retain power in the elections, he said adding that they will take steps to waive off Rs One lakh farm loans and provide relief to the farming community in Telangana.(Maxim News)
