Cong MLA Sees No Future To Party Unless Uttam
Hyderabad, Sept.18 (Maxim News): The Congress Party rebel leader K. Rajagopal Reddy on Wednesday made it clear that he would remain as the party MLA for the next four years. He alleged that CM KCR had strengthened the Tiger like BJP by killing domestic animal like Congress party in the state. He said that the party lost its existence after the desertion of 12 congress party MLAs.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly lobbies, he said that there was no future for the congress party in the state. He also reiterated that the congress Party would not have any kind of future as long as it was led by TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and RC Kuntia, and added that the party would have future once the two leaders left the leadership of the party.
He mocked that Uttam Kumar Reddy, who has promised to remove his beard if the party had lost the assembly elections in the state, has not removed his beard so far while wondering as to how the people of the state would believe Uttam now. He hastened to state that it was his personal opinion. Reddy made it clear that his statement that the BJP would be strengthened in the state was also his personal opinion.
He said that he would join the BJP only after resigning from his post. Commenting on the upcoming assembly by-elections to Huzurnagar Assembly constituency, he said that the chances of the party would depend on Uttam Kumar Reddy. He said that he would make an announcement on whom he would support in Huzurnagar after the election scheduled was announced.
He said that he had made a request to state finance minister T. Harish rao to release funds to Dindi project land acquisition process while claiming that he and Harish were friends since his college days. (Maxim News)
