Congress activists burn effigies of Malla Reddy

The Congress leaders and workers have burnt effigies of Labour Minister Malla Reddy across the state for criticising TPCC president Revanth Reddy in a filthy language during a press conference on Wednesday. They demanded the minister to tender an apology to the Telangana Congress chief and asked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to sack him from the Cabinet.

The Congress activists set minister’s effigies on fire at Medchal, Gundlapochampally, Shamirpet, and Muduchintalapalli in Medchal-Malkajgiri district. A dharna staged by the Congress functionaries at martyrs’ memorial in Narsampet town in Warangal Rural district. The Congress men organised a rasta roko at Parigi in Vikarabad district demanding Malla Reddy to withdraw his comments against Revanth.
