Hyderabad Task Force Busts Ginger Garlic Unit

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force busted an illegally run ginger garlic paste unit at Pahadishareef and seized a huge quantity of material on Saturday. Officials said the unit was operating without permission and supplying products in the market.

The Hyderabad Task Force carried out the raid after receiving a tip off. Acting swiftly, the team reached SK Royal Enterprises and Shahi Gold Companies located at Jalpally. During the operation, officers found that the unit was allegedly producing ginger garlic paste in violation of norms.

Additional DCP Iqbal Siddiqui said, “The gang was illegally preparing garlic-ginger paste and supplying the low-quality product in the market.” He confirmed that the products were being distributed despite concerns over quality. However, officials did not disclose the exact quantity seized during the raid.

Meanwhile, the Task Force team nabbed four persons in connection with the case. The arrested individuals were identified as Abdul Sattar, Mohd Ismail, Mohd Ifteqar and Noor Nabi. Police said they were involved in running the illegal ginger garlic paste unit.

Later, authorities registered a case at Pahadi Shareef police station. Further investigation is underway to examine the extent of operations and supply network. Officials said they will verify whether the products reached retail markets in other areas as well.

The Hyderabad Task Force has intensified checks on illegal food manufacturing units in the city. Therefore, officials urged traders to follow rules and maintain quality standards. They also warned that strict action will be taken against those violating food safety regulations.
