Congress-BJP-BRS Enter Into Local Conflict

Hyderabad, Oct 1 (Maxim News): With the release of the local election schedule, all political parties are immersed in election strategies and tactics. They have intensified their efforts with the aim of winning the majority of seats and asserting their power.

The ruling Congress and opposition BJP and BRS, along with all forces, are gathering to achieve dominance in the district. mandal parishad and gram panchayat elections. Other parties have also set their sights on the elections.

The Congress party has prepared plans with the aim of winning 70-80 percent of the seats in the local body elections and dominate the other parties. The party leaders are confident that there is a positive response among the people about the government’s governance and that they will definitely achieve good results. The party MLAs will be entrusted with the responsibility of winning under the supervision of the district in-charge ministers. An observer will be appointed for the district for this election. CM Revanth Reddy, PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, State Party in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and ministers will take the responsibility of election supervision and campaigning. The high command is ready to put the entire responsibility of making Congress candidates and party supporters win on the party MLAs.

Candidates are being selected by forming district committees at the field level for these elections. The development and welfare programs implemented by the Congress government for the last two years, such as free travel for women in RTC buses, farmer assurance, distribution of rice to the people, simple bonds and job creation for unemployed youth, will be used as campaign weapons. Party leaders say that the previous BRS regime will be abandoned in these elections. They say that they will also focus mainly on local issues depending on the region.

The opposition BRS hopes to raise the problems at the village level and show the people that the Congress government has failed in its governance. It has decided to propagate that while steps were taken for the comprehensive development of villages during the ten year BRS rule, the Congress has neglected all of them. Key leaders are expressing confidence that they will achieve good results with this strategy. Teleconferences are being held to ensure that the election campaign is carried out in each district. Special attention has been paid to integrating the disgruntled people from other parties into their party on the district-by-district, mandal and gram panchayat basis.

It seems that the BJP is mainly pinning its hopes on central schemes in the local elections. It considers these elections as a good opportunity to emerge as an alternative political force in the state by the time of the next assembly elections. Accordingly, it has decided to implement an action plan. It has resolved to take up various programs at the mandal, assembly and district levels, exposing the failures of the government. It has decided to widely publicise that the Modi government has given Rs. 12 lakh crore to the state in the last 11 years.

It has been decided to explain to the people about the benefits received by Telangana in various forms due to central schemes and the assistance received in various departments and sectors. The state leadership has ordered key leaders to not only travel to Hyderabad but also to campaign widely in rural areas.
