Congress celebrates Indira Gandhi birth anniversary

Hyderabad, Nov.19 (Maxim News): Congress party leaders from the state today celebrated the birth anniversary of the former prime minister of the country Indira Gandhi across Telangana. The party leaders have garlanded the statue of Indira Gandhi at Necklace road in the city and paid florals tributes to her.

TPCC Chief A. Revanth Reddy, party leaders Shabbir ali, Ponnala Laxmaiah , Madhu Yaski, V Hanumantha Rao, Anil Kumar Yadav Mallu Ravi, Harkala Venu Gopal, Sunitha Rao, Shiva Sena Reddy and Kumar Rao and other party leaders took part in the celebrations.

The leaders later observed an exhibition set up by the activists of state youth congress at the state party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan. The leaders have also paid floral tributes at the portrait of Indira Gandhi at the party headquarters. Later they distributed blankets to the poor people of the city. (Maxim News)
