Congress holds training for Youth Congress activists in Munugode

Hyderabad, Oct.12 (NSS): The Congress party today held a training program for the Youth Congress activists at Munugodu mandal headquarters. TPCC chief and party MP A. Revanth Reddy took part in the training program as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said the programs held by the Youth Congress used to get overwhelming response in the undivided Andhra Pradesh. He said there was a need to bring back the same glory to the Youth Congress in the Telangana State.

Commenting on Munugodu by-election, he said the political defections were taking place faster than the transactions of share market in Munugodu and added that the Youth Congress has the responsibility to protect the party in such a situation. He made it clear that the Youth Congress would alone put a check to the politics of defections. He said the Youth Congress also has the responsibility to counter the strategies of rival TRS and the BJP in Munugodu. He wondered if there is a Dalit or BC leader, who can become the party president in TRS party and mocked that CM KCR would not allow such a thought in his mind.

He made it clear that the Congress was a party of the poor and added that the poor people would be forced to lead a life of slavery if there was no Congress party. He called upon the Youth Congress activists to work hard for the victory of the party in the upcoming by-election scheduled to be held on November 3. (NSS)
