Congress Is Cheating Farmers In Name Of Loan Waiver: KTR

Hyderabad, Aug 21 (Maxim News) BRS Working President K.Tarak Rama Rao said that Congress is cheating the farmers in the name of loan waiver. He criticized that this Chief Minister is kicking the bucket by waiving Ravwantha’s loan.

KTR expressed doubt that the Congress waived off the loans of the farmers and whether the ministers including the Chief Minister knew… or not. He spoke to the media in Telangana Bhavan saying that the Congress is cheating the farmers in the matter of farmer loan waiver. He said that the government has waived off a quarter percent of the loans… and cheated 100 percent of the farmers. KTR told the media that if the Chief Minister said that the entire loan waiver is over… Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Ponguleti are still saying that the loan waiver process will continue. And Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka only Rs 7,500 crores have been deposited in the farmers’ account, nothing more is true, nothing should be believed by the farmers.

He demanded that the CM should tell why the farmers are raising concerns if it is a 100 percent loan waiver. He said that the Chief Minister Bandaram has been exposed as a witness of 70 lakh farmers. He expressed regret that the loan waiver has been turned into a battleground. He said that the farmers are protesting voluntarily without any party’s instigation. Banks are being besieged. He expressed his concern that the farmers are being harassed by making them go around the government offices. However, KTR warned that under no circumstances will the fraud of the Congress be abandoned. He said that the government will organize a farmers’ dharna program in all mandal centers and villages on Thursday to bow their necks with the farmers.

This Congress government said that the farmer loan waiver was 40 thousand crores first…then it was brought to 7500 crores. He said that this government is harassing the farmers who asked for farmer loan waiver in Bazar Hatnoor in Talamadu mandal of Adilabad district. They said that if they raise concerns about the non-waiver of loans, the farmers will be jailed for seven years. Farmers said they will not forgive the government for filing non-bailable cases against them. They said that the cases should be withdrawn immediately or else they will call for a Jail Bharo program along with farmers and BRS activists. Will cases be filed against lakhs of farmers and our party workers? He asked.

KTR demanded that a cheating case should be registered against the government that cheated lakhs of farmers. He warned that Congress dramas will not continue. When will the loan waiver be done in full? KTR said that he is organizing a Rythu Darna program on Thursday demanding loan waiver for all farmers without any restrictions. He appealed to the party ranks to start tomorrow’s dharna by offering milk to the mother of Telangana against the bazaar language spoken by the chief minister for setting up a statue of the mother of Telangana.

KTR said that the Congress party did not cheat the farmers as long as the BRS party was there. He said that in the past, his government did not impose any restrictions for farmer loan waivers and farmer’s relatives. KTR said that this Chief Minister is talking bazaar language to divert attention if he wants to waive loans completely. In any case, we will ignore the diversion of attention and make it clear that the government will bend its neck so that every farmer gets a loan waiver.

Regarding farmer loan waiver, the details of that have been examined at the field level and they have put it before KTR media. In Kosgi Mandal of Chief Minister’s Constituency Kodangal, 20,239 farmers in five banks have received loan waivers only for 8,527 farmers. This shows that the Chief Minister’s words are not all lies. This is a fraud on the farmers in the Chief Minister’s constituency. He said that there is a similar story in every town and village.

He said that this government is restricting the loan waiver by giving many lame excuses like names in passbooks, government employees, income tax filing, ration cards, etc. He doubted how many more restrictions the government would impose on Rythu Bandhu, which gives so many excuses for loan waivers.

KTR said that Revanth Reddy should not trample on all the promises given to the farmers and the agriculture sector. He warned that this farmer traitor will not leave the government… they will chase and hunt. That is why from tomorrow the first step will start with the farmers’ dharna. He made it clear that those games would not last long as they were just trying to manage the media and headlines and divert attention from the farmer’s loan waiver.
