Congress Leader Feroz Khan Summoned Over Anti-Women Remarks
Congress Leader Feroz Khan | Hyderabad, July 2: The Telangana State Women’s Commission has initiated suo moto proceedings against Congress leader Mohammad Feroz Khan for allegedly making derogatory and insulting remarks against women during a recent press conference.
The incident reportedly took place on June 21 at Gandhi Bhavan, where Feroz Khan is said to have used offensive language that the Commission deemed demeaning to women.

Taking serious note of the remarks, Commission Chairperson Sharada Nerella stated that such comments are not only disrespectful to women but also damaging to their dignity and social standing.
The Commission finds the remarks offensive to women, particularly those in Telangana, and has initiated an inquiry under Section 16(1)(b) of The Telangana Women’s Commission Act, 1998. Feroz Khan is directed to appear before the Commission on July 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM with all relevant documents.
The Commission emphasized that it is committed to addressing any language or actions that undermine the dignity of women, regardless of the political or public position of the individual involved.
Further investigation and appropriate action will follow based on Khan’s response and the legal implications of his remarks.
