Congress MLA Seethakka Boycotted Assembly Proceedings In A Protest Against Speaker

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News):  Congress MLA Seethakka boycotted the Assembly proceedings in protest against the Speaker not giving them a chance to speak in the House.

She commented that she did not understand what was happening in the Assembly. She was angry that even after entering the House, she was not talking about business and was not giving the opposition MLAs a chance to speak.  Many people are telling her that they are not given a chance to speak at Zero Hour and that they should speak about their problems in the Assembly as opposition MLAs.  they asked the government how they would speak if they were not given a chance.

She criticized that the MLAs of the ruling party do not cut the mike, no matter how long they speak, but if they speak for a minute, they cut the mike.  Sitakka said that the leaders of the ruling party are telling lies in the House. She asked why they are setting up water plants in every village if Mission Bhagiratha gives water.

She said that they are talking about Revanth Reddy who is not in the Assembly.  It is flagged that the ruling party will use the House for the election campaign.  She said that if the members who were elected four and half years ago are in the House, how can they discuss the progress of 9 years?  She questioned why the MLAs of the ruling party are being given a chance at zero hours when there are no problems.  They expressed their concern that the way the House is being run is causing pain to people like them.  (Maxim News)
