Congress MP’s Plea to NHAI Service Roads Construction Works In His Constituency
Hyderabad, Aug.23 (Maxim News): Congress Party MP from Bhongir Lok Sabha Seat, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has urged the chairman of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Nagendra Nath Singh to sanction funds for the construction of a Village Underpass (VUP) and service roads on NH-163 connecting Amer-Jeedikal road of his constituency.
He wrote a letter to the NHAI chairman and told him that detailed proposals to construct the VUP and the service roads at cost of Rs.41 crore have already been submitted by the state officials of the authority. He also urged the chairman to consider the works as separate works. Reddy told the chairman that there was a need to sanction the works at the earlier to ensure road safety and protect the lives of General public. The MP also brought the issue of black spots located on the NHAI roads abutting the state capital Hyderabad and connecting it with Nagpur and Bengaluru cities. He urged the chairman to take steps to rectify the problems by sanctioning works.(Maxim News)
