Congress To Stage Protests At Collectorates Tomorrow
Hyderabad, Nov.6 (Maxim News): AICC State Incharge RC Khuntia on Wednesday announced that the party would hold agitation in front of Collector offices in all the districts on November 8. He also said they would hold rallies across the State on November 16 protesting against the anti-people policies of Narendra Modi government. He also said the Congress would hold a massive protest program in New Delhi in the first week of December on the same issue.
Addressing media persons in the city, Kuntia alleged that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao were behaving as if they were elder and younger brothers. He said while KCR was trying to demolish the State secretariat, Prime Minister Modi was trying to demolish the Parliament House. Targeting the Union ministers, he alleged that they were making irresponsible statements on the economic condition of the country. He said it was tragic that Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad compared the economic condition of the country with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan.
Commenting on the ongoing TSRTC strike, Khuntia said it was unfortunate that the Chief Minister did not follow the orders of the High Court. He also alleged that the farmers of the State were not receiving any benefit under the Rythu Bandhu scheme. On the murder of Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy, he demanded that the State government provide security to all the officers in the State. (Maxim News)
