Land Purification Leading To Ghastly Acts, Bhatti Seeks Judicial Probe

Hyderabad, Nov.6 (Maxim News): CLP Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday said that the Land purification process was leading to extreme incidents in the State.

Citing that several struggles were held related to the land in the State earlier, he reminded that the armed peasant struggle was one of them. Vikramarka also said the same armed peasant struggle had eventually led to India’s freedom fight. He said the murder of an officer of Tahsildar rank in her office four never took place in the entire country while referring to the killing of the Tehsildar of Abdullapurmet mandal Vijaya reddy. He said that he was condemning the brutal act on behalf of his party. Speaking to media persons Vikramarka prayed that the souls of victims Vijaya Reddy and her driver Gurunath rest in peace.

He said that the officials of the state government kept 9 lakh passbooks of the farmers in part B and that the cases were pending for the last two years in the state. He also said that most of the lands which were in dispute and kept in part B of revenue records belonged to middle-class and poor sections of the society. He said that most of the disputed Lands were Inam lands, assigned lands Endowment and Sadabainama lands.

He said that the gruesome murder of the Tahsildar was the result of the inordinate delay in solving the problems related to the pending passbooks. He demanded the state government to order an enquiry with either a sitting judge or CBI into the murder of the tehsildar as several newsreports were emanating that the ruling party leaders were also responsible for the death of the Tahsildar.
