Congress ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chor’ Maha Dharna At Delhi Ramlila Maidan
Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec 14 (Maxim News): Congress’s ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chod’ Maha Dharna has begun at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan. The Congress party is organizing this huge Maha Dharna today (Sunday evening) at the historic Ramlila Maidan in Delhi against allegations of vote theft, irregularities in the revision of the voter list, and EC-BJP collusion. On this occasion, Congress leaders and workers from across the country participated with a large number of people in the rally held under the slogan ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chod’.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other national leaders participated in this Maha Dharna. On this occasion, the leaders are addressing the nation. Chief Ministers and ministers of Congress-ruled states, PCC presidents of all states, district leaders and thousands of workers were present.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and MPs from Telangana participated. CMs of other Congress-ruled states are also participating in this dharna.
On this occasion, Congress leaders have sharply criticized the Election Commission (EC). They have alleged irregularities such as adding bogus votes in the voter lists and removing voters who support the opposition parties. The party said that it has collected more than 5.5 crore signatures from across the country in support of this.
Congress leaders said that this Maha Dharna was a fight to save democracy. The Congress party demonstrated its strength by getting a huge crowd to participate in the rally. Through this dharna, the Congress decided to send a strong message demanding transparency and impartiality in the electoral system. (Maxim News)
