Congress welcomes KCR’s announcement on job notifications, seeks stipend to jobless too
Hyderabad, March 9 (Maxim News): Congress today welcomed the announcement of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on the issuance of job notifications to fill over 80,000 vacancies in various government departments.
“The CM made a statement on the issue on the floor of the House during the ongoing budget session.” A veteran Congress leader said Chief Minister KCR was forced to make the announcement on filling of the government jobs after sensing that the unemployed youth in the State were against the State government. He asked the Chief Minister to fulfil his promise of providing unemployment wages to the jobless youth in the State. He also made it clear that Telangana State was not formed only because of KCR, but due to the sacrifices made by all the sections in the State.
He alleged that KCR had made the announcement as he wanted to go for mid-term elections. He made it clear that the continuous fight of the Congress party on behalf of SCs, STs and BCs in the State had forced the State government to increase the age limit of the job aspirants to 49 years. He also demanded that the Chief Minister re-install B R Ambedkar statue at the Punjagutta Circle immediately. He also demanded that the Chief Minister help the family members of those unemployed youth, who had committed suicides seeking jobs from the State government. (Maxim News)
