Congress will form the next government: Uttam

Hyderabad, November 9: Nalgonda MP Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy and his wife and ex-MLA N Padmavathi filed their nomination papers from the Huzurnagar and Kodad Assembly constituencies respectively on Thursday.

Speaking to media persons after filing the nomination papers, Uttam Kumar Reddy claimed that the Congress would win both Huzurnagar and Kodad seats with the majority of over 50,000 votes. He said that the people were vexed with the BRS rule and they would throw out this government on November 30.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has failed to fulfill the promise he made with the people in the last two elections. Therefore, people would not trust KCR in the coming elections and they’ve decided to bring the Congress party to power. He said that the Congress would win the coming Assembly elections with a comfortable majority to form the next government.

He said that the six guarantees unveiled by Sonia Gandhi would be implemented within 100 days of Congress coming to power in Telangana.

These include a monthly stipend of Rs. 2,500, free bus travel, and subsidized cooking gas at Rs. 500 for women under the Mahalakshmi Scheme. Financial aid of Rs. 15,000 per acre annually to farmers and tenant farmers, with additional benefits for paddy cultivators and farm laborers under the Rythu Bharosa Scheme. Free electricity up to 200 units for households under the Gruhajyothi Initiative. Rs. 5 lakh for house construction and land allocation, especially focusing on Telangana’s heroes under the Indiramma Houses Scheme. Empowerment of youth through coverage of coaching fees, job creation, and establishment of International Schools in every mandal under the Yuva Vikasa Scheme. A comprehensive welfare plan providing monthly pensions to vulnerable groups, financial assistance to Dalit and tribal communities, and a health insurance plan under the Cheyutha Scheme.

He stressed that the Congress party would work tirelessly to implement these guarantees and deliver on its promises to the people of Telangana.
