Hyderabad, Oct.13 (Maxim News): Congress MLA from Sangareddy Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy today bemoaned the death RTC worker Srinivas Reddy. He conveyed his condolences on behalf of the Congress to the family members of the victim. He also said the Congress would stand by the victim’s family.
Speaking to mediapersons today, Jagga Reddy said the RTC workers played a crucial role in the separate Telangana agitation and went on strike for 25 days to exert pressure on the then government. Although the RTC workers thought that their demands would be conceded by the State government, their dreams remain shattered by the apathy of the State government. It was unfortunate that the State government did not respond to the demands of the RTC workers although they had been striking since the last one week. (Maxim News)
