Corona: Telangana Records 2,175 New Cases, 15 Deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 2,175 new Corona infections and 15 fatalities on Friday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,346 and the total number of positive cases to 5,87,664. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday evening, was 30,918.

Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 1,36,096 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,248 samples are awaited. On Friday, 3,821 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 94.16 per cent. So far, a total of 1,56,25,309 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,87,664 have tested positive and 5,53,400 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included eight cases from Adilabad, 110 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 253 from areas under GHMC, 59 from Jagtiyal, 40 from Jangaon, 71 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 28 from Jogulamba Gadwal, nine from Kamareddy, 113 from Karimnagar, 144 from Khammam, 11 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 75 from Mahabubnagar, 73 from Mahabubabad, 72 from Mancherial, 21 from Medak, 81 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 59 from Mulugu, 31 from Nagarkurnool, 178 from Nalgonda, 12 from Narayanpet, five from Nirmal, 29 from Nizamabad, 87 from Peddapalli, 63 from Rajanna Siricilla, 101 from Rangareddy, 35 from Sangareddy, 81 from Siddipet, 80 from Suryapet, 51 from Vikarabad, 39 from Wanaparthy, 33 from Warangal Rural, 69 from Warangal Urban and 54 from Yadadri Bhongir.
