Corona Vaccination: Andhra CM Launches Program

Vijayawada, Jan.16 (Maxim News): Corona cases and deaths are decreasing day by day in Andhra Pradesh. According to officials, no carona death was reported on Saturday. During the past 24 hours, 114 new corona cases were reported in the State, bringing the total to 8.85.824 cases so far. So far, 7.139 persons died due to corona. At present, there are 1.973 active cases in the State. A total of 8.76.698 cases were recorded in the State.

Vaccination Program

Covid-19 vaccination programme was launched in the State this morning, as part of the Nation-wide drive. Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy inaugurated the programme at the Government General Hospital here, after the Prime Minister’s inaugural speech at New Delhi. Jaganmohan Reddy reviewed the arrangements and talked to the Doctors as also some persons who have taken the vaccination. In all, 332 vaccination centres were arranged in the State for the vaccination programme.

MLA turns Doctor

YCP lady MLA Undavalli Sridevi turned into a Doctor and given the vaccination to a woman. Sridevi, who herself is a Doctor, launched the programme at Ponnekallu in Guntur District and given the vaccination to a woman. (Maxim News)
