Hyderabad: A week after an outsourcing employee and attender working in finance department tested positive for coronavirus at the Telangana secretariat building BRKR Bhavan, another outsourcing employee working in the IT department has been infected with the coronavirus.
Alerted over the matter, the officials arranged a thermal screening at the entrance of BRKR Bhavan. Employees are being examined with a thermal scanner before entering the office. Meanwhile, the civic officials took up the sanitization of the IT department.
Only a few employees are being allowed inside the office since the report of first coronavirus case. Some of the departments including finance were completely closed and all the employees were asked to work from home.
Earlier this week, two people working in the GHMC head office were also tested positive for coronavirus including an office subordinate in Mayor Bonthu Rammohan’s office.
