Court Ordered CBI To File Counter On Kavitha Bail Petition

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 15 (Maxim News): BRS MLC Kavitha daughter of former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao filed a bail petition in the Rouse Avenue Court in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.  The hearing on this petition will be held on april 22.

In the bail petition, Kavitha mentioned that there is a provision for non-arrest in cases punishable by less than seven years.  she has been arrested in the past against the guidelines of the Supreme Court and requested that she be granted bail immediately.  The court ordered the CBI to file a counter before the 20th of this month.  The hearing was adjourned to April 22.

It is known that today morning, CBI officials produced Kavitha in the special CBI court in Rouse Avenue.  The court remanded her to judicial custody till April 23, with this, the authorities will once again move Kavitha to Tihar Jail.  CBI asked for judicial custody for 14 days.  The court allowed 9 days.  (Maxim News)
