Covid-19: 12 Students Of Hyd’s Osmania Medical College Test Positive

Twelve postgraduate students of the Osmania Medical College (OMC) in Hyderabad have tested positive for coronavirus. They contracted the virus while working in Covid-19 hospitals.

OMC principal Sasikala has asked remaining students to provide treatment to patients in college affiliated hospitals by wearing PPE kits and the reading room in the campus was closed.

She said that special arrangements have been made for virus-infected students to write exams. Meanwhile, tests were already conducted on 100 students from the total of 180. Tests for remaining students will be conducted on Tuesday, said Sasikala.
