COVID-19: AP Records 1,395 Cases, 9 Deaths
Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have declined sharply in the past 24 hours on Tuesday with 1395 new cases reported taking the total number of cases in the state to 8,56,159. Meanwhile, another 9 people have died in the state due to the virus with two each in Chittoor, Krishna and Visakhapatnam, one each in East Godavari, Anantapur, Kadapa, With the latest deaths, the total death toll in the state has risen to 6890.
On the other hand, as many as 2293 newly recovered cases were reported, which brings the total number of recoveries of the virus in Andhra Pradesh to 8,32,284 Currently the number of coronavirus active cases in the state is 16,985.

As per the bulletin, 66,778 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Andhra Pradesh. This brings the number of coronavirus tests conducted so far in the state to 92,64,085. According to district wise case reported on Monday, 260 in Krishna, followed by 247 people tested positive in West Godavari, 214 in East Godavari, 199 in Guntur, 137 in Chittoor, 76, 52 in Kadapa, 31 in Prakasam, 37 in Srikakulam and 75 in Visakapatnam, 32 in Nellore, 18 in Kurnool and 35 in Vizianagaram, 58 in Anantapur respectively.
