COVID-19 Spread: Demand For Vaccine Increases, Harish Rao Writes To Centre
Hyderabad, Dec 25 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that Health experts are warning that the fourth wave of Corona is inevitable in the country, it is being analyzed that the spread of COVID-19 started from the third week of January and will slowly decrease from the month of March, people have started taking precautionary measures due to the fourth wave of Coronavirus in the form of new variant BF-7, the demand for the vaccination has increased once again.
It may be recalled that due to the slowdown of coronavirus in the state since the last few months, vaccinations in 90 percent of the centers have been stopped, due to this, the people who are going to the centers to take the Covid vaccine are turning back. In these connections, health personnel is writing letters from Primary Health Centers to the Health directorate to send vaccine doses. At present, the State Vaccination Center has Covishield and Covaxin but there is no Corbevax, with this, the Minister for Medical, Health and Family Welfare and Finance, T. Harish Rao has written a letter to the Center asking them to provide the vaccine doses to the state.
Corona has increased in many countries, Central Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya revealed that RTPCR tests will be made mandatory and also directed the states to send the samples for genome sequencing if a new variant is suspected. The Center has told the states to undertake precautionary dose drives. (Maxim News)
